Child cyclist hit by car in Warrnambool
An eight-year-old cyclist was taken to Warrnambool Base Hospital on Thursday afternoon after being hit by a car.

Sergeant Pat Day of Warrnambool police said the boy received minor injuries in the accident and was taken to hospital for observation.
He said the car hit the child at low speed.
The Warrnambool highway patrol was making enquiries with the car driver, he said.
An Ambulance Victoria spokesperson said the accident happened about 3.30pm in Merrivale Drive.
