“We’re certainly looking to be competitive across all our grades,” he said.
“We’ve retained a solid playing group and, with our younger players coming on along with a recruit or two … (we want to make sure) to be a threat again.”
King, he was first appointed to the board’s top job two years ago, said he was happy to see the Seagulls achieving consistency “both on and off the playing arenas”.
Port Fairy made the 2017 senior footy grand final, won the 2016 open grade netball grand final, and also picked up premierships in division two netball and 15 and under netball over the past two seasons.
Noel Black will fill the role of senior vice-president for the next two years, while Sharon Arnold will be secretary for the same term.
The general committee will be made up of Gareth Allen, Brian Atkins, Shaun Murrihy, Jodie Hamilton and Richard Pierce.
