Dedicated: Isabel McLaren has seen the Port Fairy show go from strength to strength during her time on the committee and enjoys helping to organise the community event which is on Saturday. Isabel answers this week's Q&A.

Port Fairy show committee member Isabel McLaren has been involved in the event for 50 years. “I’ve been on the committee for 20 years when the show was struggling, and I've seen it flourish to what it has evolved into today,” she said. “It’s a great deal of work preparing for the show, but the reward on the day is worth it all. We have a small committee who work tirelessly throughout the year. We would love to see everyone come along to enjoy and support the show. It’s a guaranteed great family day out.” Isabel is married to Lou. The pair has two children, Mark and Michelle, and five grandchildren.
