School children are encouraged to walk, ride or scoot to and from school in a bid to increase activity levels and create a lasting habit.

Students who live too far away are advised that “some of the way is ok.”The locally-run event is an initiative of the Warrnambool City Council’s Healthy Moves program and is part of Vic Health’s Walk to School program which runs each October.
