Call for better-tasting bore water in Port Fairy

Mr Purcell has created a petition for better tasting water for places supplied with bore water including Port Fairy, Heywood and Portland.
The MP said even though the water was safe to drink, it was “certainly not pleasant”.
A regional assembly attended by the premier and other ministers was held in Portland this month, and Mr Purcell said he was amazed by the number of cups of tea left behind after the break.
