The National Union of Workers (NUW) is advocating on behalf of the casual employees and has asked Australasian Global Dairies Pty Ltd (AGD), the company employing the workers, to start paying them in line with the award with back pay.
Some of the workers are in Australia on working holiday visas.
AGD have previously denied any wrong doing.
NUW Organiser Cameron Stops said a hearing at the Fair Work Commission was scheduled for Monday November 13.
“We are very confident that we have a clear cut case here, and expect that the company will respect the process at Fair Work,” Mr Stops said.
"The union provided members' names when we lodged our concerns, after making it clear that workers had elected their union to represent them in this matter.
“Unfortunately the company has been in contact with workers individually after seeing the names and are claiming that they believe AGD has actually overpaid workers.”
AGD did not respond to requests for comment by the time of publication.
We are very confident that we have a clear cut case here.
