Nirranda’s Brody Couch and Dunkeld’s Lachie Field will join the Woodford export in the Geelong second XI to face Carlton.
The trio represented Western Waves on the state championship stage together.
Couch and Field will make their second XI debuts, having started in the thirds.
Jackson, who has played in the first two second XI fixtures this season, said his two south-west mates deserved their chances.
“Brody is an all-round player, a really good batsman and bowls with some good wheels,” he said.
“Lachie is technically pretty perfect, is good to watch and rotates the strike.”
Jackson has made 71 and 13 in his first two appearances at VPC level.
The Vic Country representative said he was rapt with his round one innings.
“The grounds up here are different to playing in Warrnambool,” he said.
“It was a good pitch to bat on and I was lucky I guess.”
