The popular Koroit Lions Club Food Swap has secured its future with a permanent location found to host the monthly event. Organiser Amanda Leishman-Newell said the swap, which is on Saturday and held on the third Saturday of each month, would now be run from the Lions Club Room at Victoria Park, High Street. She said the community event helped families save money and enjoy fresh homegrown produce. Attendees can bring along excess produce, eggs, jams or pickles to swap from 10.30am. No money is exchanged.
