Man and woman from Terang charged with drug and weapons offences

WARRNAMBOOL police have found an imitation firearm, a converted hand gun and a small hydroponic cannabis set up after a raid in Terang.

Police from the Warrnambool divisional tasking unit searched the house on Thursday night and a man and woman, both 27, were arrested and charged with drug and weapons offences.

Sergeant Cameron Ross said police also seized a small amount of methamphetamine and a small amount of cannabis plants.

Police also found a machete and baton at the house.

The man and woman were both bailed to appear in Warrnambool Magistrates Court in December.
