Four Warrnambool East Primary School leaders organised a food drive and presented the loot to chief Dedy Friebe.
School wellbeing team member Jodie Carey said they had great support from the school community and students learnt about helping others. “People have donated cans and non-perishable items,” she said. “It’s fantastic.”
Food Share chief Dedy Friebe thanked the school and said the organisation relied on the community to support them with donations. “It’s like Christmas when the school donations come in,” he said.
