Dean Elford, 41, of McGregors Road, pleaded not guilty in the Warrnambool Magistrates Court to charges including intentionally causing injury, using a carriage service to menace, causing criminal damage, recklessly causing injury and unlawful assault.
After a contested hearing charges of recklessly causing injury and unlawful assault were struck out by a magistrate who also found there was insufficient evidence to support the other charges.
In a committal hearing during March the complainant said Mr Elford and an unknown man visited his Bushfield house about 8.30pm on August 11 last year which led to an incident.
Mr Elford said he was pleased his name had been cleared.
