After a five-goal lead at the end of the first quarter, the Eagles continued to soar for the remainder of the grand final against Portland.
North continuously dominated play, leading by nine at half time and 11 at three-quarter time.
By the time the final whistle blew, the Eagles had a convincing grand final win over Portland, winning 27-13.
North Warrnambool’s Georgia Walkley won best on court and praised her teammates’ efforts.
“It was a really good game our girls played amazing,” she said.
“We played our game and we couldn’t ask for anymore. We held our own.
Walkley said winning combinations involving all players were the key to success on the court.
“We rewarded everything that got turned over,” she said.
