Koroit will play Port Fairy on Saturday, with Saints fans hoping for a fourth consecutive premiership.
Morning Noonan Night Milk Bar is joining the fighting spirit, with a cartoon depicting a Saints footballer stepping down on a Port Fairy Seagull.
Milk bar owner Lisa McNamara said her son Sam, 17, had drawn the image.
“He loves art,” she said.
“He drew it in about 10 minutes and I coloured it in. My daughter Danielle and her friend Charlotte Underwood also helped to decorate the window.”
Koroit Newsagency owner Bob Shanahan said there was a feeling of excitement around the town, with shopfronts and houses decorated in the Saints colours.
He said if Koroit won, it would equal Warrnambool, which had four wins in four years from 1986-89, under coach Grant Thomas.
“A lot of the players put in a lot of hard work through the year,” he said.
“You’ve got to take your hat off to them. The whole town will be behind them. There are lots of streamers and balloons up.”
Koroit is also chasing success in the open grade netball decider.
