IT just wouldn’t be a Camperdown grand final appearance without the Baker name running around the court.

While heart-and-soul player Tracey Baker will be restricted to a support role as she recovers from a broken foot, her daughters Chelsea and Krystal will pull on the black and white on Saturday.
The sisters have two chances to bring home premiership medals, lining up first for the Magpies’ 17 and under side and then the open grade team.
Chelsea, 16, has at times donned the ‘C’ bib as her mum did, and was playing centre late in the preliminary final as the Magpies made their remarkable comeback.
“(Mum’s) support on the sideline has been really good, and when we played together it was also great,” she said. “I love midcourt. It’s been exciting and I’ve developed a lot from it.”
Goaler Krystal, 15, has played in three junior grand finals with her sister already, and hopes Saturday will be the day they finally win.
“It’s very exciting,” she said. “There’s a lot of experience on the court with the likes of Leah Sinnott and that; you always know they’re there to help you out.”
Tracey said excitement was the overriding feeling for her as Camperdown prepares for its eighth attempt at a top-grade flag.
“I thought I might have been a little bit funny about it … but I’m really not,” she said. “I’m really excited for the club – Camperdown just needs to win. I just hope I can go out there after a win and give my girls a hug.”
