White, who has held the job for five months leaves on Friday after handing in his resignation on Monday.
WRC chief executive Peter Downs said White leaves the club with its best wishes.
“We wish Bryan the best of luck for his career,” Downs said.
“He’s going back to the ACE radio network who had employed him for more than 16 years. We’re going to undertake a review of our management team.
“We’re in no hurry to employ anyone else at this stage.
“The club is in the fortunate position of having extremely competent staff who can do various jobs.”
White replaced Brad Pole who held the sales and marketing job for more than seven years.
Pole was appointed the AFL Western District Senior Operations Manager in January this year.
Warrnambool’s next meeting, a regular meeting on Friday, is set to take place on October 20.
The club’s Oaks Day is on November 9.
