Warrnambool police Sergeant Callum McKinnon said the two cars crashed at the intersection of Mortlake Road and Donovans Road at 8.50am.
He said the accident occurred when a Hyundai Ix35, driven by a man in his 30s, turning into Donovans Road collided with a Nissan X Trail, driven by a 19-year-old travelling north on Mortlake Road.
“He’s moved into the right hand turning slip lane and as he’s moved to turn right the driver hasn’t seen the north-bound car and has had a head on,” Sergeant McKinnon said.
“Both cars will be a write-off but there were no injuries.”
He said police were investigating the incident and asked for anyone who witnessed the accident to contact Tim Brosowski or Reagan Suich at Warrnambool police station on 5560 1333.
