FRIDAY

Primary school-aged children are invited to the Blue Light Dance party at the Warrnambool Greyhound Racing Club from 7pm to 9pm on Friday. 

Primary Performers are presenting Oliver at its annual production at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre on the weekend. The Charles Dickens classic will take to the stage at 6.30pm Friday and 2pm Saturday.

The Port Fairy Film Society is screening Franz on Friday from 7.30pm. The award-winning drama about the personal aftermath of WWI will be screened at the Reardon Theatre.

SATURDAY

The Camperdown Utility Dog Trials will be held at the Camperdown Showgrounds from 8am to 5pm Saturday and Sunday. 

Join south-west authors Jock Serong, Jono Pech and Matt Neal as they launch their new books at the Portland Library on Saturday from 11am. 

Proceeds from the Camperdown Dog Trials will go toward Beyond Blue.

SUNDAY

The Warrnambool Mountain Bike Club are holding a come and try event at their Macdonald Street venue on Sunday from 11am. 

Camperdown’s Friends of Mount Leura are inviting the community to explore Mount Leura and Mount Sugarloaf reserves on Sunday. Tree-planting, nature-walks and a barbecue lunch will be on offer at the family-friendly event which runs from 10am to 2pm.

Cobden Miniature Railway are hosting a South-west Dairy Community Free Family Fun Day on Sunday. Special guest Spiderman will join free attractions on offer at the Camperdown Rotary Club event between 10am and 4pm.

The Warrnambool Art Gallery is hosting Trio Incognito - 'Magical Musical Tour' on Sunday between 1pm and 2pm. Philip Shaw, Brett Holbrook and Warren Easley will perform a selection of musical compositions from centuries past and present.

The Warrnambool Historical Society and Family History Group will hold a launch of the Pioneer Board Restoration & Publication project at the Mozart Hall on Gilies Street on Sunday from 2.30 pm.  

Four homes in the south-west will open their doors to curious environment enthusiasts as part of the Sustainable House Day on Sunday between 10am and 4pm.
