Scamwatch has received 316 complaints this year about scammers impersonating NBN with nearly $28,000 reported lost. Australian Competition and Consumer Commission deputy chair Delia Rickard said NBN would never phone out of the blue to try to sign someone up to a service over its network and people over 65 were particularly vulnerable.
