Horse-loving Mercy Regional College student Polly Moloney won the best individual business plan at the 2017 Victoria University I Plan a Business (iPAB) contest.
Polly was up against almost 300 business students from across the state in the awards, which encourage year 10-11 students to put their classroom theory into practice by compiling a business plan that could become the next big idea.
Polly, a successful show rider from Kolora, put together a plan for “Polly’s Pony Provender”, which would provide feed that owners could custom-design for their horses.
Polly received the award, and $500, at a ceremony in Melbourne last week.
