They impressed selectors playing for bronze medallist Victoria at the Australian Hockey Country Championships in Townsville.
Rout, 24, will tour Japan early next year with the open-age Australian Country team after he was picked for a fourth time.
Ferrier, 20, was named captain of the Australian Country under 21 team which will tour Fiji in December.
Manderson, 18, will join Ferrier after an impressive debut for Victoria Country.
Rout, who captained his state, said he was proud of Ferrier and Manderson.
“They were really consistent,” he said.
“Maxy was quite strong in the midfield and controlled the game when he could and Stewy in his first tournament was quite smart.”
Rout said he was excited to don the green and gold again.
“It’s a great opportunity, just for the fact you don’t get to represent your country very often,” he said.
“It’s a nice surprise to be picked after all the hard work.”
Victoria Country defeated an Australian Defence Force team 1-nil to claim bronze at the nationals on Saturday.
