Two businesses contacted The Standard, frustrated with the outages.
Westfridge managing director Keith Hammond said he had no phone or internet since last Wednesday evening.
“We have four phone lines usually, which we need,” he said.
“We are trying to manage with one diverted mobile and trying to use email via phone.”
Mr Hammon said his business was missing a lot of important calls.
“Most of the businesses north of us (on Caramut Road) are off as well,” he said.
“It has been very frustrating. We are just trying to get through.”
Mr Hammond said Westfridge serviced the Warrnambool Base Hospital, and other clients who had considerable amounts of food products.
“If they are not getting through, that’s a real concern for us,” he said.
Wannon MP Dan Tehan said he had made calls to ensure services were restored.
"My office has rang Telstra and the NBN and told them it's not good enough and NBN has advised us that it will be fixed by close of business Tuesday,” he said.
NBN corporate affairs advisor Kasey Ellison said the company was working to repair damaged infrastructure which had “unfortunately resulted in the loss of services to approximately 38 premises in Warrnambool”.
“NBN apologises to businesses and residents that are affected and would like to assure them we are working to restore services as soon as possible,” she said.
“Unfortunately, telecommunication networks, like other utilities, do experience unplanned outages from time to time.”
