Portland police Sergeant Gavin Slade said a divisional van crew pulled over the woman driving in the Portland central business district in a random intercept.
"The 32-year-old driver returned a positive preliminary breath test and was taken back to the Portland police station for an evidentiary test," he said.
"She will be summoned to appear in the Portland Magistrates Court on charges of drink driving and unlicensed driving."
Sergeant Slade said drivers needed to be aware that impaired driving remained a key focus for police.
