Stevens, 12, said he was relishing the chance to hit the scoreboard at the Darwin-based competition.
“I am leading the goalkicking for the tournament, so I am pretty excited about that,” he said.
“Against Northern Territory, they were a bit undersized and I kicked eight goals.”
Victoria won its three pool games before knocking off Queensland at the semi-final stage on Thursday.
“I am normally starting forward and then moving into the ruck,” Stevens said.
Stevens’ success caps off a busy week for his family.
Brother Archie won the Hampden league under 14 best and fairest on Monday night.
“He was pretty excited. He was boarding the plane when he found out,” Stevens said.
“He was pretty pumped. It was a good effort.
“I play alongside him at South and he’s a pretty strong player.
“He’s a bit smaller (than me) and plays in the centre and wins the ball and kicks a few goals as well.”
