The accident occurred around 10.15am when the car they were in veered to avoid hitting the back of another car in front of them while attempting to join Raglan Parade from Drummond Street.
The car went up an embankment and rolled.
The man and the two children were able to get themselves out of the car.
They were assessed at the scene by paramedics and given the all-clear.
One lane of traffic on Raglan Parade was closed, with police directing traffic. The Drummond Street intersection with Raglan Parade was also closed.
SES and CFA crews righted the vehicle, which was towed from the scene.
