Collegians re-appointed Forth and fellow co-coach Jess Toleman on Friday after the duo led the Warriors to a mid-ladder finish.
Forth, a former Hawkesdale-Macarthur coach and long-time Collegians player, said the young side exceeded expectations in 2017 with four players under the age of 17.
She said the club would look to strengthen with recruits in the off-season.
“I know it’s early days, but we’ve had a lot of players re-commit for next season. Jess and I will catch up and identify who we need to recruit,” Forth said.
“I’m looking to make a playing comeback next season too, so that will bring a little more experience into the side. We’ll keep building from there.
“Investing in juniors is paying dividends. We’ve had the four development players and they’ve all had great court time this year. It’s been a big success.”
Forth said consistency would be a focus of next season, with the side out of the race for finals in seventh.
“Consistency through the year has been a bit of a downfall for us, but hopefully the foundations laid hold a bright future for us moving forward.”
Old Collegians closes its season against South Rovers on Saturday.
