The students will perform the 1970’s pop rock opera on Thursday and Friday night at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Theatre.
Producer Kerry Cheeseman said students Gabe Tejano will play the part of Jesus, while Keelan Mast is Judas and Susan Malikoff plays the part of Mary.
Ms Cheeseman said the college was fortunate to receive a $1200 grant to support regional students in the arts from philanthropist Krystyna Campbell-Pretty and Melbourne’s Production Company.
The two casts will meet next week at the Production Company's performance of Jesus Christ Superstar at the Arts Centre in Melbourne.
Ms Cheeseman said cast members, including singer songwriter Rob Mills, sent the students a video message to wish them well for their performance.
The show begins at 7.30pm and tickets are available from the theatre box office.
