The Magpies wing attack, who notched her 250th Hampden league open grade match last week, aggravated the issue in her milestone match.
“It’s not getting any worse but I tweak it and limp around for a few days, feel good on Thursdays, and it goes again on Saturdays,” she said.
Sinnott, 38, said she enjoyed being back in the Magpies’ top team but wished she could contribute more.
“It’s been a little frustrating the last week or so because it’s been more significant and I’ve played through pain and it’s affected how I’ve played,” she said.
Magpies mentor Peter Finch said Sinnott was “probably one of the most tenacious, tough netballers I have come across”.
“She’s aggressive, smart, clever and patient,” he said.
The Pies, who play South Warrnambool on Saturday, welcomed Super Netball midcourter Sarah Wall to training on Thursday night.
Finch said the Camperdown export, fresh off a season with grand finalists Giants, provided invaluable insight.
“We are having a couple of issues getting the ball down the court,” he said.
“I was doing the opposite of what she said – it’s funny how people have different perspectives on things.
“(My daughter) Jaymie was saying ‘I say that all the time’.”
