WARRNAMBOOL police are seeking information from the community after public toilets in Koroit Street were damaged in a fire.

Sergeant Callum McKinnon said a fire was believed to be deliberately lit in the Koroit street disabled toilet, near the intersection Liebig Street, last Saturday about 6.30pm.
"An unknown person has used something to set fire to a sanitary bin in the disabled toilet," he said.
"A passerby wanting to use the facilities has seen smoke and raised the alarm. The fire brigade attended and there was smoke damage caused to the disability toilet."
Sergeant McKinnion said the disability toilet had received significant damage and was not able to be used.
"Anyone who saw someone in the area about 6.3opm on Saturnight night, or who has knowledge about the fire, is urged to contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," he said.
