“It’s for everyone at the club because everyone has input,” she said.
“This is a great acknowledgement for the contribution of all parties.”
The award aims to encourage increased professionalism in club environments and acknowledges those who have gone above and beyond in delivering their programs.
The Warrnambool Swimming Club, which has about 150 members, has had a stellar year in and out of the pool, with the recently-installed new starters blocks a big tick for the increased professionalism of the club.
Windalh also congratulated Aberline on her volunteer award win.
“She has been involved in the club for a very, very long time,” Windahl said. “Her input into the Warrnambool Swimming Club has been massive over the years, so it’s a very well-deserved award for her. She deserves every accolade she gets.”
