Leishman, who finished day one tied for 36th at one-under to be four off the pace, shot a six-over 76 on day two.
He now stands five-over overall, leaving him equal 61st and 11 behind leader Jordan Spieth.
Leishman bogeyed four holes and had a double-bogey on the 10th.
