Hot Hussler ran second at her debut in maiden company on a leader biased track at Terang in March before he gave the daughter of Smart Missile a freshen up.
“I’ve got a good opinion of Hot Hussler,” Bowman said.
“She’s always showed us something. The form line from her maiden run is strong as two other runners from that race have gone on to win.
“I’ll decide on Saturday morning if we run at Flemington.”
Majestic Duke trained by Bowman runs in the Murray Cox Handicap while Ciaron Maher, Jarrod McLean, Symon Wilde and Matthew Williams also have runners at Flemington.
Darren Weir’s Warrnambool satellite stable has numerous acceptors on the nine race card.
Flemington will begin racing at 11.50am with the VRC Recognition Handicap.
It will finish racing at 4.50pm
