Tom Scott replaces Lochie Dawson in the Kangaroos’ line-up after the latter didn’t recover in time after copping a knee to the ribs in last week’s loss to Cobden.
Portland pair Keegan Gray and Tylar Watts were among four inclusions as the team prepares to take on a red-hot Koroit outfit, which has been bolstered by the returns of experienced stars Isaac Templeton and Ben Goodall.
Kangaroos coach Matt Dunn said his charges were “hungry” and would be “putting our best foot forward” as they look to capitalise on their improving form with a win over Warrnambool, whom the Roos challenged well in round four.
“It’s on that sticks in the back of our mind, that we thought that was one that got away from us,” Dunn said.
“We’ve been playing reasonably well. We’re looking forward to it.”
