POLICE are starting investigations into two potential break-ins overnight - at a Warrnambool cafe and Port Fairy jewellers.

Detective Acting Sergeant Wayne Ryan, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said there had been a report of a burglary at the Bohemia Cafe & Bar in Warrnambool's Kepler Street.
He said initial report suggested cash and a safe had been stolen.
There is also a report of a broken window at Leskes Jewellers in Bank Street Port Fairy.
As yet it is unknown if anything has been taken from the store.
Warrnambool detectives and crime scene officers will examine both premises.
