FRIDAY
PORT FAIRY is hosting its fourth and final Winter Weekend from Friday night. Events will run across the three days and include cooking classes, photo competitions, wine tasting, high tea, a swap meet, music, markets and tours. The closing party on Sunday 5pm will conclude the year’s activities with lanterns, hot food, fire drums and glowing creations.

BARGAIN hunters are invited to the inaugural 2nd Hand Sale upstairs at Brightbird Espresso on Saturday from 9am and 1pm. More than 20 stalls will be selling new and second-hand clothing, accessories and designer pieces as part of the national War on Waste campaign accompanied by local artists exhibiting on site.
CAMPERDOWN will host an array of Australia’s best short films on Saturday when the St Kilda Film Festival screens from 7.30pm at the Theatre Royal on behalf of the Corangamite Film Society.
COMEDIAN Ben Knight is performing his Parent/Teacher Interview show at Warrnambool’s Lighthouse Studio from 8pm. Aside from entertainment the event is also a fundraiser for Warrnambool Special Development School.

Warrnambool Athletics Club is hosting its annual Flagstaff Hill 5km Charity Run on Sunday from 8am. Meet at Flagstaff Hill and wear green laces to show your support for Muscular Dystrophy Awareness.
