An elderly Chinese grandmother injured in a two-car collision at Illowa on Monday is still in a serious in Melbourne’s Alfred hospital.

The woman was part of a Chinese family that was involved in a two-car collision at the intersection of Southern Cross and Tower Hill roads on Monday afternoon.
A spokeswoman for the Alfred hospital said this morning the woman was still in a serious but stable condition.
At least three other people in the Chinese family were injured along with a man in the other vehicle involved in the collision.
