Cobden Football Netball Club will appeal the ban handed down to reserves player Jacob Pekin. Pekin was this week suspended for 15 matches for making contact with an umpire in a June 10 match against Port Fairy. The Bombers will take the matter to the AFL Victoria Country Appeal Board on Tuesday. It is understood the club will appeal both the liability and sanction from the HFNL independent tribunal.
