The sisters got up close and personal with animals in the farmyard and tried their hand at woodwork.
Mum Amy Gibson said the family attended the Warrnambool festival annually with their cousins from Melbourne.
“They’ve loved the Crayola (wearable art) area and spent about an hour creating masks and headbands and the animals are always a huge hit,” she said. “They look forward to holding the rabbits and the guinea pigs.
“It’s really fantastic. We come with a mix of ages from four to 11 years and they do things together and enjoy spending time together. The organisers do a great job. It’s a great to have a festival like this in our own backyard. It’s good to support it. We’re very fortunate. The kids love it.”
The festival which runs until Sunday features 15 different zones, workshops and live performances.
