The Warrnambool Library will host Ryme Time for babies and tots aged 0-3 years from 11.30am, sharing a love of books with youngsters, parents and carers through reading and song.
Author Jan Stoneman will visit Port Fairy Library at 2pm to promote her book Hunted. It is is the first book of Stoneman’s, who writes under the pen name of J.S Davidson, in the Aztec Saga Trilogy of fantasy novels.
Artists Stephanie Peters and Troy Rainbow have collaborated to produce Unnamed Whaleboat, an immersive video and sound and video installation. It will be launched at the Artery, Timor Street, Warrnambool from 6pm.
School-age artists have combined to raise awareness about addiction in the WRAD Art In Schools exhibition which finishes on Friday. It’s on at the Outlaw Art Gallery, 61-77 Flaxman Street, Warrnambool from 12pm to 4pm.
The popular annual Biblio Art competition which sees artists celebrate books and reading through new artworks concludes on Friday at Blarney Books & Art, James Street, from 11am to 4pm.

Some of Australia’s earliest colonial history will be appraised by international auction house Sotheby’s at the Hamilton Gallery, 107 Brown Street, Hamilton from 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm.
Premiership contenders South Warrnambool and Koroit will go head-to-head in a game which could prove vital at the end of the season. South Warrnambool (second) will look to carry their good form over Koroit (third) as the race for the minor premiership heats up. Friendly Societies Park, 2pm.
Beaten grand finalist North Warrnambool is seeking revenge on a Cobden side which blew it away earlier in the season. Both teams are finals hopefuls who will be looking to shore up their credentials leading into September at Bushfield Oval, 2pm.
