A SIGNIFICANT amount of cash has been stolen from a safe at a Warrnambool bakery.

Acting Detective Senior Constable Kat Speakman, of the Warrnambool police crime investigation unit, said the burglary at Reeves Bakery on Warrnambool's Raglan Parade, near the intersection with Fairy Street, happened overnight Sunday.
She said offenders gained entry to the bakery through a window and then broke into a safe.
"A significant amount of cash was removed from the safe," she said.
"Crime scene officers will attend the bakery on Monday morning and examine the scene with Warrnambool detectives. Anyone who saw anything suspicious near Reeves Baker overnight Sunday is requested to contact the Warrnambool police station or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," she said.
Two other Warrnambool businesses were broken into over the weekend and police are investigating if all three are linked
Burglars forced entry to the South West Physiotherapy Clinic in Koroit Street via a side door between 10pm Sunday and 8am Monday.
Davis Chiropractic Centre in Timor Street was broken into via a window over the weekend.
Burglars searched the office drawers at both premises but it is unclear if anything was taken.
