Tall Ben Fraser and crumbing forward Mark Clissold returned for the Power on Saturday, booting three and four goals respectively as Kolora-Noorat held off South Rovers.
Mentor Danny Finn said the Power’s forward line would benefit from more versatility.
“They just share the load. We’ve got different options bobbing up and sharing the load which is fantastic,” he said.
“Against South Rovers, it certainly wasn’t easy and we didn’t have things our own way but we overcame their challenges.”
Finn said the 14.15 (99) to 11.10 (76) scoreline was “probably flattering” after the close encounter.
Finn said Luke Tebble was withdrawn from the game after a hamstring scare.
He said it was a precautionary move and was unsure if he’d miss next week.
