Now 16, she’s already in her third season at the top level and closing in on 50 A grade matches.
"I started young because we were a bit short on numbers,” Hutt said.
"I have been in there (in the goal ring) with a few different girls every year so it's difficult sometimes but good as well.
"(I’ve learned to take) the bumps because it gets pretty physical so I guess I have gotten stronger. “
Hutt said her game had developed playing with goal attacks with alternate game styles.
She lined up alongside Teagan McNamara at the start of the 2016 season before she went down with a knee injury.
Natalie Tongs was next to don the goal attack bib before pregnancy forced her out of the side.
Jess Wheadon, who is now playing defence, then stepped into the role.
Alicia Blain is Hutt’s goal circle teammate this season.
"She is getting her confidence up, so she is adapting well,” Hutt said.
"We have some similarities but she is more zippy. I am slower.”
Hutt said Cobden, which has two wins to its credit, was hoping to challenge for more wins in the second half of the season.
The Cobden Technical School student believes they can push bottom-placed Portland on Saturday.
