The year nine and 10 students took turns at a number of challenges, all geared towards fuelling their interest in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (stem) subjects.
The Rotary Club of Warrnambool partnered with Deakin to bring the challenge to town.
Rotary member Judy Ross said while the day was aimed at fun activities, it had an important message.
“These students here today will be choosing subjects for their VCE soon,” Ms Ross said. “There is a decline in students choosing stem subjects so we are trying to help change that.”
