Simon Johnson, Ben Taylor, and Joe Sycopoulis scored Warrnambool’s first A grade title in 66 years on Monday.
Country Championship co-ordinator Mark Taylor described the feat as a “fantastic achievement”.
Taylor said the trio was thrilled to bring home the crown.
“It’s something Simon has been trying to win for a long time,” Taylor said.
“They were very excited. They had a bit of a slow start but made up ground.”
