The health care provider is running the Healthy Minds photo competition from June 12-18. The competition aims to raise awareness of men’s emotional wellbeing and the importance of perinatal mental health. Those taking part are asked to send in a photo of a special moment between a child and a significant man in their lives.
St John of God Health Care Warrnambool CEO Trevor Matheson backed the concept.
“We are always looking to support healthy living and lifestyle and this competition is a fun way to do that,” Mr Matheson said.
“Historically, men are a little less inclined to seek health support so this is another small step to break down those barriers.”
