Moyne Shire is developing a blueprint to guide the town toward 2041.
The Port Fairy Coastal and Structure Planning Project will explore long-term future land use, including residential and commercial development, the town’s encroachment on farming land, public land, industrial areas, environmental risks, heritage overlays and more.
A drop-in community session was held on Thursday, but the shire is hoping more people will have their say by attending the Port Fairy Community Services Centre on Wednesday between 10am and 7pm.
Presentations will be made at 11am, 3pm and 6pm, with council officers on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
Cr Jordan Lockett implored people to have their say because the council wanted as many people as possible involved in the process.
