The Mat Wright-trained chaser has been secured by Devon Meadows breeder Paul Westerveld, who also houses semen from the legendary Fernando Bale.
Westerveld said Lightning Frank had limitless potential as a stud greyhound.
“It’s not just his racing performances and ability, which are very, very good,” he told The Standard.
“It’s his temperament, and his ability is obviously massive, but he also has a beautiful conformation.
“He really is the complete package in a lot of ways, but it definitely wasn’t just his on-track ability that is considered.”
Lightning Frank burst onto the scene as one of greyhound racing’s brightest prospects with triumphs in the group one Temlee and Silver Chief earlier this year.
He is tipped to continue racing despite his debut as a stud greyhound.
