Port Fairy Red Cross will host a movie luncheon fundraiser this month, screening Hidden Figures. The movie, starring Katherine Johnson, Dorothy Vaughn and Mary Jackson, is on at the Reardon Theatre on Tuesday from 12pm. The film tells the story of three female African-American mathematicians who provide crucial calculations for NASA's space race against the Soviets, while dealing with the racist and sexist assumptions from co-workers. Tickets $20 from Decked Out on Bank, Port Fairy.
