Port Fairy Red Cross group has responded to a challenge to turn $2 into a tidy sum for the humanitarian organisation. Members purchased ingredients with a $2 coin to make cakes, which were raffled and auctioned, raising $275 for the branch. Members plan to reinvest the original $2 into other fundraisers for the group.
