They were some of the more than 300 children from across the region to participate in the Education Week activity held at Warrnambool’s Lake Pertobe.
Children completed physical and mental challenges to unlock clues at sessions from Tuesday to Thursday.
Flagstaff Hill education officer and event co-ordinator Jan Barkla said the Education Week theme was healthy mind, healthy body.
The Woolsthorpe Primary School students embraced the activity and Macarthur and Hawkesdale participated in later sessions.
Teacher Sarah Daly said it was a great chance for the children to get out of the classroom and be active. She said the activity encouraged students to strategise and work together as a team with others they hadn’t worked with before.
