Finn’s Kolora-Noorat side has been buoyed by the form of Sam Williams and Lachie Mackay in recent weeks as it vies to cement its footing atop the ladder.
The third-year coach said the combination would be essential to Power’s success against an undefeated Old Collegians.
“We know what we’re going to get with our guys, we know they’re going to compete in the air and on the ground,” Finn said.
“Hopefully we can push the opposition ruckman in regards to their ability to do the same.
“I haven’t seen too much of Scott Lenehan (Old Collegians ruckman), but I think it’s going to be a very interesting game.”
Finn said the club’s new faces – including boom recruits Sam Harkin, Ben Fraser and Jason Moloney – were hitting their straps.
“Jason Moloney has been in pretty good form and a lot of teams are starting to tag him on the wing now,” he said.
“He’s a big match-up for people to contain in terms of the fact that he is six foot two or three and uses the footy well.
“He floats forward and off half-back too.
“We’ll just stick to our guns in terms of how we want to play and adjust with how the game is going.”
Old Collegians has been boosted by the return of James Crawford and Daniel Weel for the must-win clash.
